L.S.D. (…Just The High Points…)

A performance in four parts narrated by The Babysitter of Timothy Leary’s children. In part one, a panel of men read from Leary’s writing and other 1960s counterculture manifestos and philosophical texts. Part two presents a “play” about the Salem witch hunt as a day in the life of the House Un-American Activities Committee. In part three, the performers reenact a video they shot of themselves on L.S.D. rehearsing the same play. Part four recreates of a portion a debate between G. Gordon Liddy and Timothy Leary entitled “The State Of The Mind Versus The Mind Of The State.”
