Unused footage from “By the Sea” — a 16mm film directed by Elizabeth LeCompte and shot by Ken Kobland — filmed in the Summer of 1979 on the coast of New London, CT. It was projected during the last part of POINT JUDITH (an epilog).
“By the Sea” was last shown at Anthology Film Archives in 2012. Along with “The Nun’s Home Movie”, it was projected as part of the 2003 exhibit, “Half Air”, at the Marianne Boesky Gallery.
