Troilus and Cressida
September 2010–September 2012
A collaboration between The Wooster Group and the Royal Shakespeare Company at the 2012 World Shakespeare Festival. Working separately, the two companies took opposite sides in the Trojan War: the Group staged the scenes in Troy while the RSC staged the scenes in the Greek camp. Then we met at Stratford-upon-Avon and interwove our two sides and staged the battle scenes together. The contrast of artistic approaches remained a foreground feature of the production.
