The Mother is not recommended for children under the age of five. If you choose to have your child aged less than five attend, the child will be required to show either:
• a negative COVID-19 PCR test performed within 72 hours of the performance start time; or
• a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours of the performance start time.
Masks need to be worn in the theater (properly over both nose and mouth) at all times. We strongly recommend KN95/N95 masks. If you need a mask, we will have one available for you.
If you are not feeling well, have any of the symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in recent contact with a person infected with COVID-19, please contact us at boxoffice@thewoostergroup.org or (212) 966-3651, and we will reschedule or refund your tickets. All tickets are otherwise non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
If you experience COVID-19 symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 after you attend a performance, please let us know immediately at boxoffice@thewoostergroup.org or (212) 966-3651.
Should we receive a report of a COVID-19 case at any performance, we will inform all ticket buyers for that performance by contacting them at the email address they used for their purchase.
If we have to cancel your tickets because of changes in government regulations or other COVID-related reasons, we will contact you to reschedule your tickets or arrange a refund.
We do not have a coat check – if possible do not bring large personal items or bags with you, or contact us at boxoffice@thewoostergroup.org or (212) 966-3651 if you need special accommodations.
We have increased the air circulation inside the Garage, and have added air purifiers with HEPA filters to the space. Audience numbers for the winter 2022 performances of THE MOTHER will be limited to 84, and performers will be more than 10 feet away from the first row for most of the performance.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public environment where people are present. Those visiting The Performing Garage do so at their own risk of exposure.
