- from the archives – WRONG GUYS test shoot (1987)

A clip from Rehearsal Tapes: WG — an early version of Wrong Guys — filmed in Northampton, MA, during a residency sponsored by No Theater. The two-month residency included performances of LSD and St. Antony at Smith College (as well as a two-time only live performance of Wrong Guys…).

In 1995/97, Wrong Guys was again made into a film (shot primarily on 35mm and transferred to video). Though considered unfinished, it has been shown at the 1997 Whitney Biennial, Anthology Film Archives, Spectacle Theater, ICA in Philadelphia, and 356 Mission in Los Angeles among other places.

Wrong Guys was written by Jim Strahs. Both film/video versions were shot by Ken Kobland and directed by Elizabeth LeCompte.
